V.Y.G.E.R.V.Y.G.E.R. V.Y.G.E.R.thought to produce a simpler record-player which could suit to a wide range of "listeners", without compromises on its engineering philosophy. Now V.Y.G.E.R, after careful studies and experimentations, produces INDIAN record-player, defining it as a light version of ATLANTIS. INDIAN is a record-player where all mechanical pieces have been produced from a full piece by well-shaping procedure, using high quality and selected materials. It's an extraordinary record-player for functioning and performances, unique in its desing. One of its characteristics, which distinguish it from other traditional record-players with spindle-breading-pushkeeper is the powerful dinamics it shows on listening. V.Y.G.E.R. can provide several types of bases for tonearm and on request even special versions
Engineering and production of ATLANTIS system is the result of years of studies and research, with many experiments done to discover cinematic behaviour of the system, as well as listening tests and direct comparing with world famous similary systems. Atlantis has been built by people who love music. Many record-player of the last generation make use of a suspension air system to avoid noise and attritions generated by the physic match between the parts in movement (between the spindle and the pushkeeper), but the horizontal platter support has always kept its traditional made with bushes or teflon supports. ATLANTIS, for the first time in record-player history makes a step forward and fully eliminates the matching of the spindle and its slot, by the interposition of an high pressure air veil. Thanks to the vertical air pushing which substitutes the traditional pushkeeper, resulting in a almost complete elimination of friction, the system increases turning stability and precision, and drastically eliminates any kind of vibrations, still being in the traditional systems. The spindle width is 40 millimeters: it's made of special unoxidable martensitic steel, treated with hardening and stabilization processes; all the tasks are executed to get a sub-micron geometrical shape and position errors... Radial and axial rotation precision of the platter is about 1,5 micron. This result remain still unknown to all the other front-end we compared to. Suspension system has been studied to get a natural stability of the counter frame. By the use of a complex horizontal/vertical anchoring system, which uses 54 special gum rings, we get a total isolation from external vibrations and an high insensitivity to the acoustic-feedback. A down toner (using a central viscous fluid) controls the turntable unit oscillation on the side and dissipates the remaining spurious vibrations. The suspended mass, which includes the tonearm, is fine balanced to let the barycentre falling right in the platter spindle center. The system total weight is over 70kg. Motor is completely isolated from its slot, by the same system adopted in the counter frame, and it's been made on our specifics.
