Stealth Acoustics Shows Improved 255R Subwoofer Amplifi er at ISE feb 2012 |
|
Mount Vernon, WA- Stealth Acoustics has taken its bestselling amplifier and given it a few new tweaks. The blue LED’s and meter ladder are now less bright (for in-view component stacking) and we’ve tightened the 2U form factor to make close-pack rack mounting a breeze. We left the rest alone, like the variable low pass filter (which can be bypassed for full-range amplification) and the phase switch, as well as keeping the 255R’s high-current output abilities and flexible IO connectivity. So, stack‘em, pack‘em and rack’em to build a cost-effective, reliable and very powerful amplification system (perfect for powering Stealth’s LR4 premium invisible speakers and Stealth’s B30 totally invisible subwoofers). Sporting 350 watts of analog driven, high-current power at 4-ohms, and a variable low-pass fi lter, the 255R has a fi lter bypass switch to allow high-current full-range operation. Balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA and speaker-level inputs - all with matching pass-through output connectors - making integration into any system a breeze. Stealth will be using the 255R to power their B30 totally invisible subwoofers at ISE 2012 stand 5S110 - Hall 5 in Amsterdam ####
