BeoSound 2 supports inexpensive SD cards of up to 2 GB in size, which means that each card will hold approximately 400 songs recorded at a quality level where you cannot hear the difference from a CD. Flash memory technology offers a means of storing music that has several advantages over hard disc drives, not least portability, lower power consumption, and greatly improved shock resistance. A fully charged battery allows up to 10 hours of uninterrupted music – either playing your pre-defined music lists or in Random mode. Re-charging the battery is a simple matter of clicking BeoSound 2 onto the docking station.

The Travel Charger for the BeoSound 2 digital music player makes it easy to take BeoSound 2 away on holiday. The lightweight travel charger fully charges BeoSound 2 in just 2½ hours. BeoSound 2 is supplied with a docking station that provides the connection to a computer and is also a power charger. Fully charged, BeoSound 2 will run for 10 hours.
