AREXX Engineering was founded in 1993 by Aalt Rens and Marjon Roeten. During the years, the activities of the company have gradually changed. AREXX started with the sales of tools and was specialized in gas soldering irons and “blue flame” gas torches, which were imported from the Far East (mainly from Taiwan). In 1994 we met our current partner in Taiwan, Mr. Jack Lai of JAMA Oriental. One of his former activities was export manager for the soldering tools company, the products which AREXX at that time imported into Europe. AUREXX Crystal I Back to the roots! Our beautiful Valve Amplifiers are based on designs of the 50s and 60s and will surprise you with their pure, crystal clear sound!
We use a mimimum of standard components (EL84, ECC83, standard transformers) and do not include all those falderal like other companies do. This is completely different from our competion and allows us to sell very affordable valve amplifiers! The output power of this Class A Stereo Amplifier is 2x 3.5W (8 Ohm, 100K input impedance) just like it was in the 50s and 60s! A must have for audio lovers! The Amplifiers are available preassembled, or as a Kit with all parts and an extensive assembly manual! Building your own valve amp is a great experience and you learn a lot about amplifiers in general! We offer them in black, dark green and silver metallic color.
