Inert cabinet Just like the speaker sound is influenced by the listening room, the internal size of the cabinet can modify the sound quality. Technically, resonance "modes" are caused by the amplification of certain frequencies (about 20dB) that remain in the cabinet for up to 1 second. Those frequencies come on top of the original sound and deteriorate its quality. The usual solution to get rid of this problem is to use massive quantities of damping material (rock wool) that will interact with all frequencies without targeting the real problems and with no real effect on resonance modes. Studies made by BC Acoustique's laboratory on listening rooms allowed us to identify precisely the source of the problems and the solutions to bring to cancel them. As opposed to the more classical method, BC Acoustique is using new principles seldom or never used by other speaker manufacturers for a new improvement in quality Tél: +33 1 43 68 25 00
