The input impedance is regularly 100 ohms. Gain is selectable between 58dB and 64dB. RIAA and IEC equalization is switchable. Unit is assembled in a duo monaural construction. The signal outputs will be enabled 30s after the model42 was powered on. Eight power supplies are integrated. Depending on the type of turntable it is possible to supply it with energy from the model42. ac detection takes care on the signal outputs of the model42. If, by accident, the power plug is removed, or mains supply fails, the outputs will be switched off immediately – in order to protect your loudspeaker systems.. Parts and construction are superior. The tolerance for important parts is 0.05% for resistors and 0.5% for capacitors!.
