Chapter one: The first 30 years.

ELECTROCOMPANIET introduced their first amplifier over 30 years ago. The design were based upon a new approach to transistor amplifier design developed by Dr. Matti Otala and Jan Lohstro. The result of their innovative design work were incorporated in the first EC design, the legendary 25 watt amplifier.
EC's experimentation based on this new design and EC's desire to create transparent, neutral powerful amplifiers led EC's search for, and discovery of, a new way of using feedback in amplifiers. Since then EC have experienced fewer design limitations. Years of comprehensive testing and research have resulted in the current DUAL MONO CLASS A balanced designs using a different approach to the output stage not seen in other amplifiers.
A new technique called floating transformer technique (FTT), has further improved the products. Taking them closer to what it's all about, faithful reproduction of music. All Electrocompaniet products are made by highly skilled technicians, and extensively tested for maximum performance and reliability. Electrocompaniet´s products are sold in more then 40 countries, providing the ultimate listening pleasure to dedicated music lovers world-wide.
This is the end of chapter one of Electrocompaniet, started in the middle of the seventies, that's more then 30 years!, very impressive. Now we are ready to continue the developing of this excellent product.

Chapter two: The new future.
Electrocompaniet ran into financial crises that culminated in autumn 2004 with new owners and new management. The new owners want to expand Electrocompaniet into a major performer in the international high-end Hi-Fi market, specializing in amplifiers, CD-players, and equipment, both for 2 channel and multi-channel system.
By use of its own resources, in combination with some of the original designers, Electrocompaniet is ready to produce not only the existing range, but also new breakthrough Hi-Fi products. We are sure we have the necessary resources to make Electrocompaniet expand in the high-end Hi-Fi marked.

The new chapter has been started, be ready for the continuing story...
