What started off in a barn in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1975 as a glass works, is now one of the most innovative high-tech companies in this branch. The company's many years of experience in the production and processing of function glasses, combined with a good portion of pioneering spirit and fruitful co-operation ventures with the right partners at teh right time, have resulted in a product range which opens up completely new dimensions in almost unlimited fields of application.

The currently 20-strong workforce at the company complex, which was newly erected in 1999 in Wiehl as well as the many creative free spirits worldwide are in a constant innovation process.
For example, there are always new fields of application for glass - above all in electronics.
Thanks to additional processing such as anti-reflection coatings, conductive coatings, laser treatment, screen printing, heat-sealing and chip-on-glass technology, glass-platz always produces the appropriate "function glass" from the material glass.

A large stock assortment of standard glasses and glass products ensure delivery at short notice.
