Our aim is to simplify and improve continuously in everything we do. Our customers are discriminating people for whom sound quality matters. The answer to their total entertainment requirements is Linn, the only sound. Launched over 30 years ago, Linn's first ever product, the SONDEK LP12, defied, challenged and eventually revolutionised accepted hi-fi wisdom.

At that time, loudspeakers were considered the most important component within a hi-fi system. Linn contended that the source component, in this case the turntable, ultimately determined the performance of the hi-fi system, a fact which was easily proven by a simple A-B demonstration. Linn's 'source-first' approach is now a widely adopted industry standard.

Three decades later, Linn's product range has grown substantially from that original SONDEK LP12 turntable. Today Linn's range of precision engineered audio and video components contains more than 50 individual products which span all three elements critical to any entertainment system: source, control and playback.  Source components such as the SONDEK CD12 and the UNIDISK family hold true to original 'source-first' ideal and represent the absolute state of the art in digital disc playing technology.

Control components, pre-amplifiers and system controllers, are built to adjust and control signal purity through the system and offer comprehensive and intuitive source-control.

Linn power amplifiers utilise highly advanced technologies such as Switch-Mode Power Supplies and high-efficiency audio circuits to deliver pure, hum and buzz-free silent-power. High-performance loudspeakers, featuring patented technologies such as servo-controlled bass, the 3-K Driver Array and advanced AKTIV crossovers, complete the range.

With the CLASSIK range, Linn has taken the elements of source, control and playback and combined them in compact and discreet packages which offer all of the performance you'd expect from a Linn system in a single box.

In addition, with the development of the KNEKT infrastructure in the early 90s, Linn pioneered high-quality multi-room audio distribution. Today, all Linn products are designed to work within KNEKT multi-room installations allowing sound to be distributed and controlled by multiple users throughout the home.
