De EISA Awards worden jaarlijks gekozen door een jury bestaande uit 50 toonaangevende foto-, video, audio-, home theatre- en elektronica tijdschriften uit meer dan 18 Europese landen. De EISA Awards worden uitgereikt aan de nieuwste producten die op de markt verkrijgbaar zijn met de meest geavanceerde technologie, de gebruiksvriendelijkste opties en het mooiste design met de beste prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding.

De jury omschrijft de JBL MS-8 als ‘een stijlvol product voor stijlvolle voertuigen waarbij auto-inzittenden op elke plek in de auto een realistisch geluid te horen krijgen’.
